1980

Founded January 1980 by Duane “Dewey” Tietz

Operated as "CrossTown Delivery"
Servicing the Bismarck/Mandan, ND area
Used personal vehicles and a borrowed pickup truck

1990

Renamed to Cross Country Courier

Opened Headquarters office in Bismarck, ND (still in Bismarck today)
Opened Dickinson, ND location

1993

Opened our First Terminal in South Dakota

1994

Expanded Operations with a Terminal in Minnesota

2008

Introduced Barcode Scanning Inside Terminals

Barcode were used on docks and linehauls

2010

Ownership Changed to Janeanne Bischke

2012

Renamed to CrossCountry Freight Solutions

Route Drivers Started using Handheld Scanning & Electronic POD's Introduced

2016

Opened a Terminal in Des Moines, IA

2017

Acquired Nebraska Transport Company (NTC)

With the acquisition, we gained 7 terminals throughout all of Nebraska, Denver, CO, and Kansas City, KS

2019

Opened lanes to and from Chicago

2020

Our Family of Companies Expands

Price Truck Line: Adding full state coverage of Kansas.
Mergenthaler Transportation (MTS): Adding full state coverage in Montana, and coverage in Salt Lake City, and Spokane.
North American Logistics: Adding truckload service.

2021

DATS Trucking & RAC Transport Trucking Join our Family of Companies

DATS & RAC improves our already dense coverage of Colorado and also adds full state coverage of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and partial coverage of Idaho, Nevada, and Texas
